She was a finalist on the 2019 season of American Idol, where judges Luke Bryan and Katy Perry praised her voice and star quality. Her style blends pop and R&B, and she's known for her deep vocals and ability to blend with other musicians.

Josh Thorne

Josh is from Syracuse, UT and is currently in his second year in Vocal Point. He comes from a family often referred to as the “VonTrapp family singers,” and has been a part of several choirs/music ensembles. He served a mission in Santiago, Chile and Dallas, Texas and is now in the Marketing Junior core at the BYU Business School. He loves canyoneering, traveling, watching movies, meeting new people, and claims he can beat anyone at Mario Kart Wii. When he’s not singing or doing homework he’s probably somewhere playing pickleball.

Jensen Diederich

Jensen is from Holladay, Utah and is an advertising student at BYU. This is his third year in Vocal Point, and he sings as a tenor in the group. Jensen is a TikTok content creator and he has had several of his videos featured on sites such as Buzzfeed and Cosmopolitan. A fun fact is that Jensen was always the smallest in his grade growing up until he grew to 6’1 while on his mission.

Jack Nelson

Jack Nelson is from Santa Barbara, CA, and is in his third year singing baritone with Vocal Point. A senior in the Information Systems program at BYU, Jack served a mission in Italy, where he developed a deep appreciation for Italian culture and food. When he's not singing or studying, Jack can often be found on the basketball court. He plans to pursue a career in product management after graduation. Fun fact: Jack has an uncanny ability to name every NBA team's mascot!
